Yesterday I asked my Mum what her favourite song to dance to was. She started singing See My Baby Jive by Wizzard. I had never heard it. My Dad joined in too. For my mum it reminds her of her time at university and dancing with her pals. We danced to it in our kitchen. Cute.
I saw the beautiful Anais Mitchell live at Summerhall, Edinburgh. She played beautiful songs you can sink right into. I also her love her image – effortlessly cool 90s grunge. Listen to this one from her new album Xoa. It sends shivers.
